Sandy's Story - It was whilst on holiday that I realised I could be pregnant. It was quite a surprise, I already had two beautiful children and after two sections I had decided I didn’t want to go through all that again. I did a test as soon as I got home and sure enough I was expecting again. I was very excited at first until the vision of hospital and a c-section reappeared in my mind.

So many people (including Kay) had warned me that this would happen but I suppose I had expected to prove them all wrong and go into labour just before or on my due date. woke up on the morning of my estimated due date with period
like pains, similar to those I had had the week before. I
didn't think too much of them as they had come and gone last
time with no progress. I made a trip to the bathroom and found
that I had spotted a bit of brown blood - I wondered whether
this could be a show, but it didn't really look like a mucus
plug so I decided this could mean anything from labour being
imminent to it starting next week! read
