Dear Aunty Virginia

Mummy has knitted this for you (we hope it fits and you like the colour!). It took mummy so long as I take up most of mummy’s time now. It is to say thank you for looking after mummy when I was in her tummy and for looking after mummy and me afterwards.

I am growing very fast and have a big fat tummy. I am learning to do lots of things and am trying to put all my toys in my mouth, although most of them don’t taste very nice. Daddy took lots of pictures that we are sending to you.

Mummy and Daddy have brought a house near my aunty Fi and my cousins in Toddington. It has a very large garden for me to play in and 2 apple trees. We hope to move very soon.

Daddy is working very had and has got work planned right up until 2003. He is enjoying it but has a stye so he’s properly working too hard. Fortunately, I did not retain his hair-do as I now have dark blonde fluffy hair that cannot lie flat – this makes my hairstyle dead funky. I am enjoying seeing different parts of the country and meeting lots of different people (mummy says I’m a flirt) but mummy and Daddy now think its time for us to have a home so that I can have little friends.

We hope that you are well and your plans for Thailand are coming along.

Aged 15 weeks and 4 days.

Lisa, Dan and Jacob.
